A 14-year old
student wrote, “Before I came to New Hope House, I isolated myself most of my life, afraid someone would hurt me again. But now, I’m free in Christ and I absolutely LOVE being around people and actually find it hard to be alone. I’ve figured out that I am social and God is beginning to heal me of my past hurts and mistrust. I am so glad He’s changing my life.”
Program Goals and Activities
The students of New Hope House represent diverse ethnic
backgrounds and income levels. In serving these girls, our goals are to:
• Initiate the training process for the student to function as a Christian in
society
• Inform and mentor students in the application of biblical principals
• Improve relationships in the family, school and the community and
• Inspire changed behavior and a “new life” spiritually, mentally, emotionally
and physically through the changing power of Jesus Christ
New Hope House serves girls ages 12-17, primarily from the western United States, representing diverse ethnic backgrounds and income levels. Because of the family environment or personal choices these girls have experienced abuse that has affected their educational, social and personal development. These girls need outside intervention in a safe environment that provides the structure and supervision required to change the direction of their life. Opportunities are offered to teach them the joy of serving others
